In March of 2013, Riverside Community invested over $400 million in a major campus expansion and renovation project that included a new 7-story patient care tower, upgrades to imaging modalities, a replacement medical office building, a new parking garage and seismic retrofits to the existing structure.
With these improvements to our campus, Riverside Community Hospital has the ability to provide a better and more comfortable place for patients to receive the healthcare they deserve. In addition, the new patient tower features all private patient rooms, a new cafeteria and laboratory, an expanded ICU, expanded Medical/Surgical units, and new Surgical Holding and Postoperative Surgical Recovery areas.
The expansion and renovation project now gives Riverside Community Hospital the ability to better serve the Inland Empire Region by improving access to healthcare with a total capacity of 478 acute-hospital beds.
