Riverside, CA — Riverside Community Hospital announced today Mike Hoyt will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer effective February 27, 2024.
Mr. Hoyt joins Riverside Community Hospital from sister HCA Healthcare facility Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado where he was Vice President, Operations for a year. He oversaw several operational and support services departments including Facilities Management, Real Estate/ Construction, Food and Nutrition Services, Environmental Services, Security, Valet, Biomedical Engineering and medical office buildings. Mr. Hoyt was instrumental in the completion of a new $77M six-story patient tower and completed the first three phases of a $20M kitchen renovation.
Prior, Mr. Hoyt was at HCA Healthcare’s Research Medical Center in Kansas City where he spent four years overseeing the Cardiovascular and Neurosciences departments.
Mr. Hoyt earned his Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Saint Louis University and worked for BJC Healthcare in Saint Louis. He was a Captain in the Air Force and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Liberty University.
