Riverside Community Hospital, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare, announced today Onel Rodriquez has been named Chief Financial Officer effective September 3, 2024.
Onel holds an extensive background in accounting and leadership spanning 18 years. He has been with HCA Healthcare since 2015 where he was vice president, finance at HCA Florida JFK Medical Center. In 2017, Onel accepted a chief financial officer role at another healthcare system but returned to HCA Healthcare in May of 2020 as CFO at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital.
During his time at HCA Florida Palms West, Onel helped the achieve the best geometric patient length of stay in the division for two consecutive years, managed a $17M operating room expansion and $5M Level III neonatal intensive care unit expansion. Most recently, Onel was CFO at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, a 493-bed facility in Miami, Florida. Here he worked closely with other senior executives grow EMS volume, create a PICC team and served as mentor in HCA Healthcare's Executive Development Program.

Onel and his wife, Karen, and son Knox (13) and daughter Rylee (16) will be relocating to the City of Riverside. The family is on a mission to visit every Disney Park in the world and loves to spend time together outside playing sports and fishing.
