Riverside, CA – Riverside Community Hospital (RCH) today announced it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement after undergoing a rigorous on-site survey this month. This significant achievement is another reflection of the hospital’s commitment of seeking to elevate its quality, consistency and safety of the services and patient care they provide.

As part of the on-site survey review, The Joint Commission experts evaluated compliance with disease-specific care standards, total hip and total knee replacement requirements, including orthopedic consultation, and pre-operative, intraoperative and post-surgical orthopedic surgeon follow-up care.
