Riverside, CA - Riverside Community Hospital's Emergency Department was recognized by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) as the recipient of 2022 Emergency Medicine Wellness Center of Excellence Award. This honor is presented annually to an emergency medicine group, department or clinical site that incorporates wellness and resilience on an institutional level. The award was presented to at the ACEP Scientific Assembly in San Francisco on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
Under the leadership of the Emergency Department Chairman, Steven Kim, MD, and Emergency Medicine residency co-program directors, Gregory Guldner, MD and Jason An, MD, the Riverside Community Hospital's Emergency Department team has consistently advanced knowledge and practice of emergency physician wellness and burnout prevention with research-backed evidence.
