In March of 2013, Riverside Community Hospital launched a major expansion and renovation project that includes a new 7-story patient care tower, upgrades to imaging modalities, a replacement medical office building, a new parking garage and seismic retrofits to the existing structure.
This $363 million project is well underway with the new parking garage completed adding 1,061 additional parking spaces to the campus and the replacement of a new 3-level Medical Office Building. Scheduled to be completed in 2018, the expansion and renovation project will give Riverside Community Hospital the ability to better serve the Inland Empire Region by improving access to healthcare with a total capacity of 478 acute-hospital beds.
