Dr John Coon is a board-certified general surgeon who received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School. His residency in general surgery was completed at the University of New Mexico. He also completed a fellowship in Burn and Trauma Surgery at the University of Southern California and a Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Parkview Hospital Medical Center in Riverside, California.
Dr John Coon is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
